Hi, I’m Andrés Szkolnik — a Miami-based eCommerce growth consultant and founder of If This Then Data (ITTD). For nearly two decades, I’ve helped DTC and Shopify brands unlock their next stage of growth through a mix of analytics, creativity, and hands-on execution.
I’ve been doing this since 2006, across small brands and large enterprises. The Origin Story: Economics Meets Human Behavior
I graduated with a degree in Economics, which gave me an early appreciation for math, structure, and the cause-and-effect nature of business growth. But I’ve always been a curious person — fascinated by how people make decisions and the psychology behind why they buy. That mix of left-brain logic and right-brain curiosity became the foundation of my approach to marketing.
Over time, I discovered what I now call the sweet spot of creative performance marketing — where data informs creativity, and creativity drives data. It’s where numbers and narratives work together to make brands irresistible.

How long is a typical engagement?
Most engagements start at 6 months. That’s enough time to audit, rebuild key systems, and prove results. The majority of clients renew because growth compounds once the foundations are solid.
Do you only work with Shopify brands?
Shopify and Shopify Plus are the core of my work, but I occasionally make exceptions when the business model and tech stack still allow for the same level of impact and visibility into data.
Where are most of your clients based?
Most clients are in the U.S. and Latin America, with strong clusters in Miami, New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. I’m based in Miami but work with teams across time zones.
